    The Very Best - Supplements derived from food, herbs or other plant sources. These supplements contain important food factors that work together to nourish your cells.     Second Best - Some isolated products like CoQ10 or Alpha Lipoic acid are hard to get in such concentrated form in supplements derived completely from food. However, not all manufacturing processes are equal. So Dr. Jo searches for those supplements free of toxins and with as few excipients as possible. (Excipients include things added to the tablet or capsule that help the manufacturing process, but they don't nourish you and some may be harmful.)
